●ミニバンの威力に屈す。。。
■巷では「ミニバン嫌い」と言われてる僕ですが、確かにどちらかと聞かれたら「嫌い」なのは間違いない。でも、決して食わず嫌いではないわけで、それを証明するかのように今回、ホンダからエリシオンを借り出した。なんでまたミニバンを借りたかというと、試乗や取材やテストではなく、珍しく自身の普段の生活の中で、６人乗車を体験する機会が到来したから。こういうのは絶対に逃してはならない好機。なぜなら試乗や取材やテストではなく、実生活の中で使ってみてこそ、真の価値が見いだせると思えるからである。
■で、借りてきましたエリシオン。車庫に入れた姿はこんな感じ。ひとこと、「デカっ！」。こういう感覚、個人的にはやはり好きになれません。
■しかし！ であります。こうやって車庫にクルマを停めていると、庭から娘の声が…。「うわぁ、黒いクルマぁ」となぜか嬉しそうです。不機嫌になりつつ家に入ると、玄関で娘が「黒いクルマ、黒いクルマ」と騒ぎ立て、見に行こうと促しています。で、渋々娘とクルマに戻り、後席や前席に座らせると…「うわぁ、広い。楽しい！」とのこと。親ながら、軽く懲らしめてやりたい気持ちが沸き上がってしまいました。で、以下の写真。こんな笑顔、見たことありませんでした。
■さらにその後、娘に聞いてみることに。「ねーねー、黒いクルマと白いクルマ（上写真参照）、どっちが好き？」。すると娘は間髪入れず「黒！」。額に井桁のマークを浮かべつつ、玄関先に戻り、「じゃあじゃあ、黒いクルマと銀色のクルマ（911）、どっちが好き？」と聞くと、またもや「黒！」と即答。ああ、俺は、俺は…この日、まだ6人乗車をする以前にミニバンの威力の前に屈し、枕を涙で濡らしたのだった。

小さい車好きのおれも、うーむ・・・
ちなみに愛車はスイフト1.3ＸＧの５ＭＴです。
最近、あまり好きではなかったＮＢロードスターに心惹かれています。先日、ＮＢのクーペを始めて見て（写真以外で）あまりのカッコよさに惚れ惚れしたからかも。
話が脱線してしまいました。明日はザッカーの発売日だ！河口さんの記事（有るよね？）を楽しみにしています！

初めまして、名古屋在住の来月４１歳の♂です。
この世界で働いてるからには、好きな車に
乗っているのが、絶対！！ですyo!!
河口さんが欲しいと想えば、また娘の意見に
納得すれば話は別だけど、６人乗りって言っても、
年に何回か乗る機会が有れば、レンタカーも
ある事ですから、所有したくも？無い車のために
ローンを組んで所有する！！なんて事に
ならないよ〜に願ってます。
奥さんや、娘の意見が時に大事なのは
判るけど、同じ年代で、車好きの河口さんには、
今のままでいてほしいなぁ！！！

お嬢さんの笑顔が最高ですね。
それでも、ミニバンがお嫌い？ と言うよりも河口さんは日本を代表する評論家の一人になろうとされているのですから言葉を少し慎まれたほうがいいと思いますよ
私もいろいろな車を乗ってきましたが必ず車雑誌で確認して購入してきました 評論家の中には外車かぶれの方やＦＲ信仰の方などさまざまで見ていておもしろいのですがそれで参考になるかと言えば？ いまや日本は技術的には世界でも屈指でしょうが開発能力に欠けている（テストドライバ－の資質問題）と思えないでしょうか？ そこで、河口さんもこれからはスキルアップをして頂き日本の自動車業界の底上げに尽力して頂きたいと切に願います。

毎回楽しみにしております。
今のままのブログでずっといってほしいです。
僕はまだ独身ですが家族を持っても走りへの思いは捨てたくないです。譲れません笑
ミニバン僕も嫌いです！！
ミニバンに乗る人を否定するつもりはありません。
ただ、スポーツカーが好きなんです。

うちの父親も車好きだったので自分が子供の頃、近所のワンボックス乗りの友達家族が実に羨ましかったことを思い出しました。別に広いことはどうでも良くて、大きく背の高い車に魅力を感じていたのだと思います。

ミニバンだろうがスポーツカーだろうが良い物は良い、良くない物は良くないときっぱり言って欲しいです。

このように『私用』のために無償で借りるのは、メーカーからの利益供与にしか見えないですね。

ちょっと難しい問題ですね。
やっぱり使い方に合った使い方をしてみないと分からない部分って一杯あると思います。
あくまでもメーカー側からは広報の一環という考え方だと思うので一概に利益供与とは言えないと思いますが。
このようなミニバン等はやはり家族を抜きには出来ないと思うので私は良い記事を書いてくれればそれで良いと思います。
