●期待に胸が膨らむ
■6日にデトロイトへ向けて旅立つ。今年のNAIASは事前の情報の通り、日本のスポーツカーが多く登場する。
■レクサスがスーパースポーツのLF-Aと、ISに5LのV8を搭載したIS-Fを送り出す。ホンダはついにNSXの後継にあたるアキュラのスポーツカー・コンセプトを送り出す。他には、三菱がランエボの新型プロトタイプを送り出し、トヨタはハイブリッド・スポーツカーのコンセプトを…といった具合に日本のスポーツカーが目白押しなのだ。
■あと2日もすれば全ては明らかになるわけだが、やはりこういうものは実際に目にするまでが楽しい。実際に目にしてしまうと、いくらコンセプトカーとはいえ現実世界の造形であるわけで…。
■ともあれ、07年は日本のスポーツカーの年になりそう。この他にもおそらくジュネーブ辺りでスバルがインプレッサを送り出すだろうし、東京モーターショーでは公約通りGT-Rが姿を現しそうである。
■そう考えると今年は実に充実の年となるはず。それだけに期待に胸が膨らむ。願わくば、この中から世界をアッと言わせるクルマが登場してほしい。

まずは、アフターレポートに期待して居ります。
年明け最初は「スカイライン３５０GT」に乗り、次に「インプレッサWRX・STi」に試乗しましたが、改めて大排気量＆ハイパワーで快適なATサルーンよりも、アンダー２リッターでMTのスポーツセダン（スポーツカー）が断然楽しい事を再確認しましたし、現に３１５馬力でも車と一体化して走る楽しさが薄い車と、２８０馬力（それ以下でも可）で楽しい車の明暗が別れました。
と言いましても、V36スカイラインが良い車で有る事は実感出来ましたが、私が試乗した印象ではスポーツセダンと言うよりは「走りが楽しめる高級車」と思いましたし、インプを含めた小型スポーツ車は「高性能を自分の意のままに操る楽しさ」が有ると再認識しました（表現が下手でスミマセン）。
