でも良い出会いですよね。
やはりスポーツーカー

ユーロバージョンのシビックに乗りたいと今でも思っています。この一連のシビック騒動を見ていて思ったのですが、日本の自動車評論家の方々は「太鼓持ち」が多い（TaikomochiBettariServiceのTBSほどではありませんが）ので、自動車会社の経営者の方々も「裸の王様」になっているのではないですか。だから、こだわりを持ったユーザーのニーズを見誤るのではないでしょうか。かつての「技術の○○」という会社がそれで会社が傾きましたし、今も外国人経営者（日本人には自己改革能力がないのか？）のおかげで財務体質は改善したようですが、欲しい車が出てきませんよね。確かにアメリカで売れる車が儲かるのでしょうが、日本でこだわりを持ったユーザーが欲しいのはまっすぐ走れば何でもいいアメリカの車ではなくて、ヨーロッパで売れている車だと思います。だからシビックのタイプRがアメリカバージョンで出てくるというのはやっぱりホンダの経営者の方が購買層を見誤っているのではないかと思ってしまいます。もっと本音で語れる自動車雑誌や自動車番組が有ればいいのですが、河口さんはどう思われます？

私もクルマは小型軽量のスポーツカーが理想ですが、いまや時代に逆行した車が氾濫しています。

安全対策やらコストの面は勿論、ユーザーの欲望に沿う様に不必要な過剰装備で太り続け、まるで今の車は重戦車化していますし、重いという事は反面では「技術が無い」という証でも有ります。

本田宗次郎さんの仰る様に、今の日本車が北米仕様の余りモノや、それに近い「直線番長」が多いのも確かですし、近年の日産の「Ｂプラットフォーム」の使いまわしも、つまらない車を生む原因の一つでしょう？
