●夜明け
■既にご存じの方も多いと思うが、8月6日に開催されたF1第13戦ハンガリーGPにおいて、ホンダがついに優勝を果たした。ホンダとして72勝目、1992年第16戦オーストラリアGP以来14年ぶり、そしてホンダワークスチームとしては1967年第9戦イタリアGP以来、実に39年ぶりの優勝となる。
■TVではドライバーのジェンソン・バトンを始め、ホンダの福井社長ら関係者の喜びの表情を確認することができた。僕はレースを途中までしか見ておらず、目を覚ましたときにはホンダ優勝が確実だったためレースの詳しい流れは分からないが、とにかく2000年に始まった第3期ホンダF1にとって、待ちに待った1勝がようやく訪れたわけだ。
■寝起きのもうろうとした状態だったから、ホンダの久々の優勝に大興奮！ という状況には僕自身至っていないことはこの文章のテンションでも明らかだが、それでも表彰台に君が代が流れた時には何かこう胸にグッと来るものがあった。
■実は先週偶然にも、僕はホンダの福井社長とお話しさせて頂く機会があったが、その時福井社長はF1に関して「まだ頂点を争う位置にはいないが、トップ2チームに何かがあったときには表彰台の真ん中にいけるくらいにはいる」という旨の発言をされていた。そんな言葉を聞いてから、わずか数日後の出来事だっただけに、福井社長もハンガロリンクでそのことを思い出しているかな？ なんて思った。
■それはさておき、TVでも中本修平F1ディレクターが言っていたように、ホンダF1は「ようやくスタートした」といえる。待望の優勝とはいえ今シーズンの今後を考えれば、まだまだ苦労は続くように思える。しかし勝利がもたらすモチベーションの向上は明らかだろうから、これから上手く回る可能性も高まったといえるだろう。
■ただ僕が期待しているのは、何より市販車の方だ。これまでの歴史から見れば、ホンダがF1で好成績を収めた前後に必ず、市販車の世界で面白いことが起こるのが定説になっている。第1期の67年当時はホンダのSシリーズが販売されており、第2期の90年時にはNSX、91年にはビートが登場している。ならばこの先ホンダF1が力を付け、表彰台の真ん中を何度も占めるようになれば…この前後で面白いことが起こるのではないか？ と僕はひそかに期待している。
■このブログでも最近のホンダの市販車に対する愚痴をかなり書き連ねており、そこから欧州仕様シビックの話が派生し、ホンダにそうした状況を聞きに行ったほどである（これに関してはもう少々お待ちを）。が、そんな風にしてホンダに話を聞きにいって分かったことは、今後に関して希望が少し見出せる状況であることを確認できたことだ。
■時間が経てばいろいろなことが明らかになっていくだろうが、この夏以降はそれなりに我々が興味を持てるようなトピックがいくつかあるはずだ。
■今はまだ、F1も市販車も以前からすれば「全然物足りない」ホンダだが、近い将来へ向けての胎動は確実に始まっている。そうした流れを見れば、今回のF1優勝はまさに「夜明け」。そしてこの世界から差し込む光が増して強くなるほどに、市販車の世界でも光り輝く何かが生まれてくるのではないだろうか？
■そうした想いを抱きつつ、ホンダF1優勝おめでとう！ と言いたい。

やっとの優勝ということで、嬉しいのですが、第二期のイメージが強いので「やっと」という感じですね。
市販車の方はここ最近マーケティング重視で、シビックについてもそのマーケットアウトの発想が悪い方に出た例ではないでしょうか。良くも悪くもプロダクトアウトなモノづくりがホンダの良いところだったのですが・・・
アキュラ店展開でムチャクチャな車が出てくるのを期待したいですね（笑）

ついに優勝しましたね。
モータースポーツ＝市販車と言う事を大事にして貰いたいと言う事が特に今回の優勝で
出来てますよね。
スポーツカー作るにはお金が掛かるから
ミニバンでもうけてと言う話もありますが、
スポーツカーを大切にして貰いたいと思います。
しかし考えて見れば一時期はスポーツカーを生産していない次期も有ったし今に始まった事では内容にも思いいますがね。

やっときましたね、参戦当初は３年で勝てる車を・・・なんてコメントをことを雑誌やTVで見ていましたので、第２期の黄金時代のホンダに魅了されてホンダファン、ホンダ車オーナーになった私としては、ただただうれしい限りです。今後常勝できるように早くなってほしいものですね。
あとはF１のノーズに輝く赤バッチが市販車で、一刻も早く復活（まずはシビック３ドア）してほしいものです。

フルワークス体制ということを考えれば、第２期のような大活躍を望むのは難しいと思っていましたし、これからもそうだろうと思っています。

まったく同感です。
F1はセナの時代に好きになって以来、見続けてきてホンダの動向もそれなりに気にしてきたはずですが、今回のホンダの優勝には正直なんの感動もありませんでした。
単純にフジTVやホンダF1（マクラーレン）のブランド戦略のキャラクターとしてのアイルトン・セナに陶酔していたことを差し引いても余りある無感動でした。
かつてホンダのバイクにも3台乗りました。車はCRXにも乗りました。
「なんとなくホンダが好きだ。」そんな理由なき期待感みたいなものがホンダに感じられる日が戻ることを期待しています。

まずは優勝オメデトウ！と言わせて頂きます。
しかしながら、ホンダは（トヨタも）「F１」を派手に宣伝していながら、売れてる車はミニバンばかりとは情けない・・・。
TVCMでは、F１マシンに続いてミニバンがコーナリングする映像が流れるのは嫌ですし、ディーラーのショールームもミニバンや軽しかなく、いまやシビックさえ追いやられているのが現状です。
今後のホンダの動向には注目していますが、現状でも理想と現実のギャップが大きく感じます。
