　本題のX4なんですが、小さい車ですが大きな意味を持っていると思います。それは、モータースポーツ文化への貢献ということです。この車に乗り、ラリーへ出場している人は沢山います。はっきり言って、儲からない車だと思います。それでも、ユーザーのために次期モデルを出す。意外と、見逃しそうな事実ではないでしょうか？
　あまりダイハツのモータースポーツ活動を昔から知らないので簡単に言えませんが、シャレードやミラの1000CCの4WDなど、ダイハツはモータースポーツに積極的な企業なのかもしれませんね（笑）

このクラスでは、実に魅力的な一台ですね。

個人的に、ダイハツのこの手の車と言えば「シャレード・デトマソ」「ＧＴ－Ｔi(XX)」が浮びますが、昨今のモータースポーツの世界でも「競技に使える手頃な新車が無い」と声も多いので、他社の奮起にも期待したい所です。

社用車としてＣＶＩＣセダンを買おうかと思い、クリオ店に出掛けた。しかし、試乗車は置いてなく、ハイブリッド版は５月の連休明けに発注しても、納車は８月末…？つまり売る気がないのである。
アメリカ市場がブレークしていて、国内向けはタマ不足のようだ。そこにＦｉｔのアメリカ向け輸出も始まって、工場はラインの変更で大わらわらしい。
つまり、ＨＯＮＤＡさんはアメリカでのエントリーカーの座をヒュンダイに奪われないようにする、東風汽車でのＣＩＶＩセダンの生産立ち上げ等々、国際問題で手を焼いているらしい。多くの車評論家の言うように、ＣＩＶＩＣセダンは国内では不人気なのかも知れないが、他に事情もあるようだ。
ところで、通勤時、たまに近所のご夫婦のカローラにピックアップして駅まで送って貰うこととがある。その場合運転手である小柄な奥さんの後席に座るのだが、膝が後席につかえる（当方は身長１７５ｃｍ）。昔乗っていたシビックフェリオでもそんなことは起きなかった。何でも売ることができるトヨタという会社は奇妙な存在に見える
