上記リンク先に書こうとしたらエラーが出ましたので、此方の方に書かせて頂きます。
ホンダ・シビック等と同様に、いまのスカイラインもやはり「米国人向け」の車ですので、個人的にスカイラインは「Ｒ３２」が頂点で「Ｒ３４」で終わりました。
かつて、Ｒ３２に出会った時の気持ちは今でも忘れられませんが、現行型を見た時には「昔好きだった幼馴染の少女が、ぶくぶく太ったオバサンになって再会した」という印象でした。
ＧＴ－Ｒは兎も角、本来のスカイラインは２．０～２．５リッタークラスの「スポーツセダン（クーペ）」であり、現行型になってからは従来までの車好きの若者や走り屋のユーザー（及び予備軍）を、日産は完全に切り捨ててしまいましたので、例え中高年の金持ちユーザーが有る程度買ったとしても、その後のユーザー層の拡大には繋がらないと思います。
たとえ米国市場では大人気でも、ミニバンと同じＶＱ３５を搭載し重いボディを走らせて化石燃料を浪費する様な現行型は、明らかに日本市場には向いていません（旧型の燃費が良かったとは言いませんが）。
さて、肝心の新型「G35」の印象ですが、ますます「フーガ」に近づいたと思いましたし、現行型以上に完全に米国向け日本車ですので、次はシーマやフーガの行く末さえ気になります？。
メイン市場である、米国の余りを日本に持ってきて売ろうというのは、明らかにホンダのやり方と同じですし、今後は団塊の世代が買ったとしても後の世代は買わないでしょうし、フロントマスクをみて「天才バカボンのおまわりさん」を思い出したのは自分だけでしょうか？
旧型に拘る保守的な意見ばかり述べましたが、やはり「スカイライン」の名前を忘れた方が良かったかも知れません・・・。
